Job summary

The State of Missouri is seeking a lead Behavior Analyst to develop and implement positive behavior practices, oversee the behavior department across facilities, and supervise licensed professionals and technicians involved in behavior support services.

The role involves consultation with staff, participation in plan development and treatment team meetings, and the creation of training programs for staff and families. Travel between locations is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, social work, counseling, or closely related field.
• Four+ years of professional experience in mental health, education, social services, public administration, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement positive behavior practices.
• Oversee all functions of the behavior department, including assessments and behavior support plans.
• Consult with facility staff and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Develop training programs for staff and family members on behavior support plans.
• Supervise staff within behavioral services, including licensed analysts and RBTs.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal requirements and policies.
