Job summary

Behavioral Health Network (BHN) is seeking a dedicated Behavior Analyst to support individuals across BHN’s Developmental Services in Westfield, MA. You will conduct assessments, design treatment plans, and coach families and teams to implement effective interventions in home, clinic, and community settings.

Requirements include a Master’s in a mental health field, BCBA certification or eligibility within one year, and at least 2 years of experience in behavior analysis.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a mental health field (required).
  • BCBA certification or eligibility within one year (preferred).
  • At least 2 years of experience in behavior analysis and functional assessments.
  • Experience delivering services in home or community settings with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct FBAs and skill-based assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS, AFLS).
  • Develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs.
  • Design data collection systems and monitor treatment outcomes.
  • Provide training and consultation to caregivers, staff, and collateral providers.
  • Collaborate with schools, IEP/IFSP teams, and other supports.
  • Document services and submit progress notes and treatment plans timely.
  • Model and coach caregivers and team members on intervention strategies.

What You Will Do

As a Behavior Analyst at BHN, you will deliver high-quality behavioral health services in home, outpatient, and community settings. You’ll conduct assessments, design treatment plans, and provide training and consultation to help individuals build meaningful skills and reduce challenging behaviors. You’ll also work closely with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure that treatment plans are practical, culturally appropriate, and goal oriented.

Responsibilities Include

  • Deliver behavioral consultation and training to caregivers, staff, and collateral providers
  • Collaborate with schools, IEP/IFSP teams, and other support systems
  • Document all services clearly and submit progress notes and treatment plans in a timely manner
  • Provide modeling and coaching to caregivers and team members on intervention strategies
Who You Are
  • Master’s Degree in a mental health field (required)
  • BCBA certification or eligibility within one year (preferred)
  • At least 2 years of experience in behavior analysis, including functional assessments and plan development
  • Experience working in home or community-based settings with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required)
  • Must be 21 years of age or older

Pay: $72,320.00

Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-8pm (Flexible schedule based on needs of clients) 40-hour work week
