Job summary

Berlin-Boylston Regional School District’s Boylston Elementary School seeks a 1:1 Paraeducator Support Staff for the Before School Program. The role runs weekdays from 7:10 am to 8:15 am, with the school day beginning immediately on a September 2026-June 2027 term. Salary is $30/hour, with focus on students with intensive special needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting K–5 students in school settings, and show reliability, flexibility, and strong communication with staff.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with intensive special needs.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor students to ensure safety and appropriate behavior.
• Engage with students in structured and unstructured activities.
• Support students with homework, games, and recreational activities.
• Assist with program routines such as snack, clean-up, and transition to new activities.
• Communicate effectively with students and staff.
• Enforce program rules and school expectations in a positive manner.
