Job summary

Boylston Elementary School in the Berlin-Boylston Regional School District is seeking a 1:1 Paraeducator Support Staff for the After School program. This part-time role runs 3:00 pm–6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with varied days.

Candidates should have experience with students with intensive needs and strong communication to supervise and support homework, games, and activities in a safe, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with intensive special needs.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in the After School Program at Boylston Elementary School as 1:1 support
• The After-School Program provides supervision and support for students in grades K–5 during the after-school program.
• Para will ensure a safe, positive, and engaging environment while overseeing student activities such as homework, play, and enrichment.
• Supervise and monitor students to ensure safety and appropriate behavior.
• Engage with students in structured and unstructured activities.
• Support students with homework, games, and recreational activities.
• Assist with program routines such as snack, clean-up, and transition to new activities.
• Communicate effectively with students and staff.
• Enforce program rules and school expectations in a positive manner.
