AlphaBEST Education seeks an Elementary-aged Site Director at Lopez Elementary in Fort Collins, CO. Lead a before/after school program, manage schedules, staffing, and licensing compliance, while delivering safe, engaging activities for children.

This role emphasizes supervision, strong communication with families and school partners, and building a positive, inclusive environment. CPR/First Aid and licensing knowledge are valued; year-round commitment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the site: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation
• Oversee curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations
• Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards
• Make child safety the top priority at all times
• Maintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspections
• Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements
• Supervise and mentor your site team, providing coaching and feedback, and ensuring training requirements are met
• Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events
• Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success

Location: Lopez Elementary School; 637 Wabash St, Fort Collins, CO 80526

Schedule: Monday-Friday AM/PM Split shift (6:30 am-8:30 am and/or 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm)

As an AlphaBEST Site Director, you'll lead a meaningful before and after-school program that helps kids learn, grow, and thrive.

In This Role, You Will

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• At least 3 years of experience in a school-age program or teaching setting preferred
• Demonstrated experience in team leadership and supervision preferred
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
• Level 2 PDIS in Colorado Shines
• To meet Colorado licensing requirements, you must be at least 21 years old and meet ONE of the following:
• A Bachelor's degree in a related field (education, recreation, child development, etc.)
• At least 2 years of college and 910+ hours of verified experience working with kids (ages 4+)
• Or 3 years of verified experience + 6 college credit hours OR 40 hours of training related to school-age care
