Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc is seeking a Site Director to lead an elementary after-school program across Jeffco School District elementary sites. You will oversee daily operations, staff, curriculum implementation, and licensing compliance while ensuring a safe, engaging environment for children.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (education, recreation, child development, etc.).
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• At least 3 years of experience in a school-age program or teaching setting preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in team leadership and supervision preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations: schedules, ratios, staffing, documentation.
• Oversee curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations.
• Create a safe, inclusive environment aligned with licensing and AlphaBEST standards.
• Prioritize child safety at all times and ensure licensing compliance.
• Maintain documentation and readiness for inspections.
• Track site resources, attendance, and food program requirements.
• Supervise and mentor site team; provide coaching and ensure training requirements are met.
• Represent AlphaBEST professionally at school and community events.
• Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership.

Location: Elementary schools within the Jeffco School District

Pay: $20.25-$23.25

Hours: Monday-Friday AM/PM Split shift (6:30 am-8:30 am/or 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm)

As an AlphaBEST Site Director, you'll lead a meaningful before and after-school program that helps kids learn, grow, and thrive.

We're looking for an elementary-aged professional who:

• Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely

In this role, you will:

• Supervise and mentor your site team, providing coaching and feedback, and ensuring training requirements are met
• Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events
• Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• At least 3 years of experience in a school-age program or teaching setting preferred
• Demonstrated experience in team leadership and supervision preferred
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)

• To meet Colorado licensing requirements, you must be at least 21 years old and meet ONE of the following:

  *A Bachelor's degree in a related field (education, recreation, child development, etc.)
  *At least 2 years of college and 910+ hours of verified experience working with kids (ages 4+)
  *Or 3 years of verified experience + 6 college credit hours OR 40 hours of training related to school-age care
