Job summary

AlphaBEST Education is seeking an After School Group Leader in Oro Valley, AZ. You will lead a small group of students through daily curriculum activities, focusing on safety, inclusivity, and engagement after school hours.

The role emphasizes building relationships with kids, families, and school staff while keeping spaces clean and organized. CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain is required, and a high school diploma is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds).
• 18+ years old and childcare experience preferred.
• Must be registered (or become registered) and have full clearance from the AZ childcare licensing agency.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts).
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included.

Schedule: M-F 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm (hours may vary) NO WEEKENDS!
