Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is seeking a Group Leader in Walnut Creek, CA to guide students through daily curriculum activities across languages, STEAM, fitness, maker activities and arts.

The role emphasizes safety, organization, and supportive relationships with children, families, and staff at two elementary schools. The position offers $24.00 per hour, with a $300 hiring bonus and weekday shifts only (Mon–Fri, three shifts; weekends not required).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• 12 semester units from an accredited college or university
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
• At least 6 months of teaching experience in a licensed childcare center
