Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc is seeking a part-time Group Leader at Eyestone Elementary School in Wellington, CO, to supervise pre-K and school-age students after school hours, guiding activities and ensuring safety.

You will lead groups through daily curriculum activities across languages, STEAM, fitness, maker activities, and arts, while fostering an inclusive, supportive environment and partnering with families and school staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old and have a minimum of 460 verifiable hours of experience with children (ages 4+).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
• Proof of experience as required by CO childcare licensing regulations.
• PDIS level 2 on Colorado Shines Professional Development Information System.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts).
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff.

AlphaBEST Education provides extended-day, summer, and enrichment programs designed to inspire and engage students as they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment.

As an AlphaBEST Group Leader, you'll help shape meaningful before andafter-school moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive. You'll gain valuable experience working with children and collaborating with a team.
