Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic Early Learning Professional to join our after-school programs in San Ramon, CA. This part-time role focuses on safe, high‑energy activities and age‑appropriate lessons that engage children beyond the school day.

You will lead groups, ensure safety, maintain a tidy space, and collaborate with families and school staff to create a welcoming, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 12 semester units or equivalent in Early Childhood Education from an accredited college or university.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds).
• At least 6 months of teaching experience in a licensed childcare center.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities.
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff.

Education

• Creekside Elementary School, in Danville, CA

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Hours: Mon to Fri (Multiple shifts available) and no weekends!
