Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc is seeking a Before and After School Program Leader for the San Ramon Valley locations in CA. You will inspire and lead children in a dynamic environment that values curiosity, adventure, and belonging, delivering engaging activities before and after school.

Schedule runs Monday through Friday with shifts from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM depending on site; weekends are not required. The role emphasizes safety, creativity, and community, and offers a $300 hiring bonus and

Qualifications

• Must have 15 semester units or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
• At least four years of teaching experience in a licensed childcare center.
• 12 units covering child growth and development, human growth and development, child, family, and community, or program/curriculum.
• Must be registered and have full clearance from the state childcare licensing agency.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through activities in fitness, arts, technology, and more.
• Work collaboratively with peers to ignite children's sense of wonder.
• Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students' interests and talents.
• Provide a caring, family-oriented environment with positive staff, child, and parent relationships.

Here's what you'll need:

• Must have 15 semester units or equivalent quarter units from an accredited college or university.
• At least four years of teaching experience in a licensed childcare center
• 12 units of courses that cover child growth and development, human growth and development, child, family, and community, or program/curriculum
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
• Must be registered and have full clearance from the state childcare licensing agency
• Proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing regulations

• As an AlphaBEST Program Leader, you'll be trained to do the following:
