Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. provides extended day, summer, and enrichment programs designed to inspire and engage students beyond the school day. As an AlphaBEST Group Leader, you will help shape meaningful before and after school moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive in a structured, high-energy environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 12 semester units in Early Childhood Education from an accredited college or university required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds).
• At least 6 months of teaching experience in a licensed childcare center.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts).
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

12 semester units or equivalent in Early Childhood Education

CPR and First Aid certification

Ability to bend and lift up to 25 pounds

6+ months teaching experience in licensed childcare

Hiring Bonus $300

3 Location(s):

• Hidden Hills in San Ramon, CA
• Rancho Romero Elementary School in Alamo, CA
• Creekside Elementary School, in Danville, CA

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Hours: Mon to Fri (Multiple shifts available) and no weekends!
