Job summary

AlphaBEST Education seeks an early learning Group Leader at Castro Valley Elementary to guide students through daily activities, emphasizing safety and inclusivity. You’ll lead curriculum blocks (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, Arts), maintain a clean space, and foster strong relationships with peers, families, and staff.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR/First Aid, and 6+ months of licensed childcare teaching experience; one of 48 college units, an associate

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have 1 of the following: Associate's degree or higher, 48 semester college units, or passing the ParaEducator Assistant Exam.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with bending and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• At least 6 months of teaching experience in a licensed childcare center.

Responsibilities

Pay: $22 to $23 per hour

Location: Castro Valley Elementary School

Hours: Mon to Fri and no weekends!
