Job summary

AlphaBEST Education is hiring for the 2026/2027 school year at Cherry Hill and Roosevelt Elementary Schools. Position pays $17.00/hour with before and after school hours from 7:00-8:30am and 3:00-6:00pm as part of our Before & After School Programs.

As a Group Leader, you’ll gain leadership experience while working with children, collaborating with a team, and strengthening a structured, high-energy environment that enhances safety and learning beyond the school day.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lead a group of students and supervise activities.
• Follows child safety procedures at all times.
• Strong reliability and adaptability in a school-activity setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts)
• Make child safety the top priority at all times
• Keep the space clean and organized
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff

As an AlphaBEST Group Leader, you'll help shape meaningful before and after school moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive. You'll gain valuable experience working with children and collaborating with a team.

We're Looking For An Early Learning Professional Who

• Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment
• Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely
• Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed

In This Role, You Will
