Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is seeking a Group Leader for the 2026/2027 school year at Mt. Arlington Elementary Schools in Mount Arlington, NJ.

Pay is $17.00 per hour with hours 7:00-8:30am and 2:45-6:30pm, providing leadership experience in before- and after-school programs designed to inspire and engage students beyond the school day. As an AlphaBEST Group Leader you will guide students through daily activities including World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts, while prioritizing

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts)
• Make child safety the top priority at all times
• Keep the space clean and organized
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff
