Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is hiring for the 2026/2027 school year to support our Before & After School Programs in New Jersey, including Cherry Hill and Roosevelt Elementary Schools.

The Group Leader role runs 7:00-8:30am and 3:00-6:00pm, at a pay rate of $17.00/hour. You’ll lead activities, emphasize safety, keep spaces tidy, and build strong relationships with students and staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with bending and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts).
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff.

We're looking for an early learning professional who:

• Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment
• Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely
• Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed

In this role, you will:
