Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. in New Jersey is hiring a Group Leader for its Before & After School Programs at Valley Road School. You will guide students through daily activities, focusing on World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts, while ensuring a safe and engaging environment.

This role provides hands-on leadership experience and collaboration with a team of educators, families, and school staff. Requires a High School diploma and CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds).

Hours: 6:30-8:15am & 2:30-6:00pm

AlphaBEST Education provides extended day, summer, and enrichment programs that are designed to inspire and engage students while they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment.

As an AlphaBEST Group Leader, you’ll help shape meaningful before and after school moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive. You’ll gain valuable experience working with children and collaborating with a team.

• Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment
• Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely
• Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed
