Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and able to work with children.
• Experience or credentials in childcare preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Criminal background check/fingerprinting required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the program director to plan and implement the child care program.
• Develop and promote good community relations with school and community clients.
• Assist director to prepare and implement quality programming.
• Follow licensing requirements daily.
• Supervise students during program hours.
• Communicate effectively with parents, students, staff, and district colleagues.
• Maintain safe conditions for all students and staff.
• Promote and market the program for before/after care and full days.
• Attend professional development trainings as required by licensing and district.
• Assist in implementing quality lesson plans and daily activities.
• Assist with maintenance and proper storage of equipment and supplies.
• Contribute ideas for enrichment activities and program quality.
• Create and implement activities and field trips for full day programming.
• Attend monthly program staff meetings.
