Job summary

Charter Schools USA seeks a dedicated Before & After Care Worker to help maintain a safe, orderly, and welcoming atmosphere for students before and after school.

You will supervise and assist students, play on the playground, help with homework, and enforce school procedures while reflecting CSUSA's commitment to student greatness and good hearts. A high school diploma is required; prior daycare or camp experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher education credential.
• Previous experience as daycare assistant or summer camp counselor, preferred.
• Must like children.
• Commitment to company values.
• Such alternatives to the above requirements as CSUSA may find appropriate and acceptable.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Reflect a professional manner and provide excellent customer service to students and parents.
• Resolve conflicts with children and parents; be firm but friendly, courteous and professional with parents, children and coworkers.
• Reports to the Director of the Before and After Care Program and to the school principal.
• Follow proper student sign-in procedures for Before Care.
• Follow proper student check-in procedures for After Care.
• Monitor students throughout program times.
