Job summary

Charter Schools USA is seeking a friendly Before & After Care Worker to help maintain a safe, orderly atmosphere in the cafeteria, on the playground and in other designated areas before and after school.

You will supervise students, assist with homework, pass snacks, and tutor when needed, while following CSUSA policies and school procedures. A high school diploma or higher is required along with a caring, professional attitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher education credential is required or preferred.
• Experience with children or in daycare/summer camp settings is a plus.
• Ability to maintain a safe, orderly, and friendly environment for students.

Responsibilities

• Reflect professional conduct in interactions with students, parents, and staff.
• Resolve conflicts between children and parents in a courteous and firm manner.
• Follow proper sign-in and dismissal procedures for Before and After Care.
• Monitor students and supervise activities on playground and common areas.
• Distribute snacks and assist with playtime, homework, and tutoring as needed.
