Job summary

Charter Schools USA is seeking a Before & After Care Worker to help maintain a safe, orderly and welcoming environment in before- and after-school programs.

You will supervise students, assist with homework and snacks, and help resolve conflicts while upholding CSUSA policies and school procedures. This role emphasizes teamwork, positive customer service to families, and a commitment to CSUSA's values of Strong Minds, Good Hearts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher education credential.
• Previous daycare assistant or summer camp counselor experience preferred.
• Must like children.
• Commitment to CSUSA values.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Reflect professional manner and provide excellent customer service.
• Resolve conflicts with children and parents; be firm but friendly.
• Supervise and assist in Before & After Care programs.
• Follow proper student sign-in and dismissal procedures.
• Monitor students and observe who enters/leaves childcare area.
• Assist students with homework.
• Pass out snacks.
• Play with students on playground.
• Tutor and assist students with homework.
• Resolve conflicts with children and parents.
