Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant for our Before and After School Program at Pittsburgh Minadeo Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year.

The role operates during the school day with hours from 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM and 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM, following the school calendar. The position offers part-time, non-exempt status and includes employer-paid childcare benefits for staff and their dependents.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum which includes fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and acting as a positive role model for children in the program.
• Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.
