Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Lead for the Before and After School Program at Pittsburgh Minadeo Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year.

Position features part-time, non-exempt status with opportunities for morning and/or afternoon shifts aligned to the school day. Employer-paid childcare and a range of benefits support you as you care for children ages 5–12.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or human services.
• Associate’s degree with 30 credit hours in above fields plus 1 year relevant experience.
• Associate’s degree plus 2–3 years relevant experience.
• CDA credentials plus 2 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities per Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, arts, homework).
• Provide a safe, healthy, fun environment and serve as a positive role model.
• Follow state guidelines, program policies, and host school rules.
• Support operations including attendance, registration, and staffing.
