Job summary

Zoetis, Inc. is seeking a Territory Business Manager to lead the Beef business in Northwest IA.

You will manage relationships with veterinarians, producers and distributors across a broad geography, deliver Zoetis products and training, and plan strategically to achieve sales targets. Ideal candidates have foundational cattle experience, strong communication and presentation skills, and willingness to travel overnight about 25% of the time, including some weekends.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) or equivalent experience.
Master's in animal science or equivalent degree preferred.
A minimum of 6 months of cattle related experience for Associate Territory Business Manager; minimum of 3 years for Territory Business Manager.
Animal Health experience and knowledge of Beef industry preferred.
Ability and willingness to travel overnight about 25% of the time, including some weekends.

Responsibilities

Calling on Stocker/Backgrounders, Cow/Calf producers, Veterinarians, Dealers, and Distributor Representatives and differentiating Zoetis products from competitors.
Using strong presentation skills to conduct educational training and seminars at accounts and producer events.
Building relationships and influence within veterinarians, distributors, extension and university personnel.
Managing a broad geographic area with a diverse customer base to achieve sales targets and market share growth.
Developing trust with customers through reliability and follow-up.
Territory Planning & Priority Setting through data analysis and execution of business plans.
Demonstrating technical and commercial knowledge of Beef industry and Zoetis portfolio, and collaborating as a team.
