Job summary

Jobvite, Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager to lead the plant’s safety programs at the Souderton, PA facility, serving production, fabrication, packaging, sanitation, maintenance, QA, and logistics.

You will develop OSHA-compliant safety programs, train employees, conduct inspections, and partner with Operations leadership to sustain a strong safety culture in a high-volume beef processing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive safety experience in manufacturing or food-processing environments.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety principles.
• Experience conducting safety inspections, investigations, hazard assessments, and training.

Responsibilities

• Lead the plant’s overall safety program and serve as the primary safety resource for management and employees.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and applicable requirements.
• Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments throughout the facility.
• Identify unsafe conditions and develop corrective actions to eliminate or reduce hazards.
• Partner with Operations leadership to maintain best safety practices in a beef processing environment.
• Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs, procedures, policies, and training initiatives.
• Lead investigations of injuries, illnesses, near misses, and safety incidents and drive corrective actions.
