Job summary

Philly’s Best Steak Company Inc. is a Philadelphia area meat processing leader seeking a Production Manager. You will own daily department performance, drive safety and quality, and lead supervisors to meet production goals across two facilities.

You will manage budgets, improve throughput, and maintain GMP and HACCP standards while collaborating with Maintenance, Quality, Safety, and Supply Chain teams. A hands-on leader on the production floor is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive production management experience in food manufacturing or meat processing.
• Demonstrated experience leading supervisors and hourly employees.
• Strong understanding of labor management, production scheduling, productivity, and cost control.
• Hands-on management style with time on the production floor.
• Proficient with MS Office; ERP experience required, Microsoft Dynamics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall performance and execution of the Production Department.
• Monitor production performance and take corrective actions.
• Lead a team of Production Supervisors and develop staff.
• Manage production budgets and control labor costs.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with Maintenance, FSQA, Safety, and Warehouse.
• Ensure GMP, food safety, and regulatory compliance.
