JBS Plainwell is seeking a Ground Beef Maintenance Superintendent to lead the Ground Beef Operations Maintenance Electronics Department, providing leadership for maintenance operations, equipment reliability, and food-safety initiatives. You will oversee safety, preventive maintenance, root-cause analysis, and coaching for succession, ensuring effective shift transitions and adherence to company policies.

Formación

• 5-7 years of food industry maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Above-average computer proficiency.
• PLC troubleshooting, editing, and programming experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee overall safety for self and subordinates.
• Create and promote a food safety mindset throughout the team.
• Oversee maintenance support for daily operations.
• Oversee maintenance breakdowns and help develop root cause prevention plans.
• Support the processes and policies established by the Maintenance Department and company policies.
• Ensure planned preventive maintenance work orders are completed in a timely manner.
• Provide coaching and development for team members to support succession planning and strengthen the department.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure shift events and key information are communicated effectively during shift transitions.
• Create and audit procedures for preventive maintenance work orders.
