Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Territory Representative (Field Sales) in Columbus, GA to drive animal health product sales. You will meet customers, tailor information, and develop territory plans with cross-functional teams to grow accounts.

The role requires adaptability, strong communication, and travel readiness, with education including a high school diploma and preferably a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Familiarity with Beef and Dairy industry.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Adaptability to a changing environment.
• Proficient in Word/Excel/PowerPoint; ability to use an iPad.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Travel overnight; some weekend activity.

Responsibilities

• Communicate product information to customers; tailor discussions to needs.
• Serve as primary contact for assigned customers; engage decision makers.
• Develop customer strategy and account growth plans to drive sales of Animal Health products/services.
• Develop territory/account plans; partner with Technical Services, ID/Infrastructure Specialists, Monitoring Specialists, National Account Managers, and Distribution Field Partners.
• Collaborate across species teams to enhance knowledge of the full product portfolio.
• Analyze sales results monthly; manage expenses within budget.
• Identify and deliver education, training, and program offerings to meet customer needs.
• Stay current on products, industry trends, competitors, and network structure; share insights to influence sales trends.
• Develop and meet learning and development objectives with leadership.
