Tyson Foods is seeking a Manager of Carcass Merchandizing & Production Planning in Springdale, AR. The role leads merchandizing operations and production planning, coordinating order queues and cattle flow to support production decisions.

It includes auditing grading procedures, producing trend reports, and training plant teams on grading accuracy and reporting best practices. Travel to beef plants is required, and the role collaborates with Operations, USDA, and Production Planning to resolve

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Meat Science, Food Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of carcass merchandizing, grading, or plant operations.
• Familiarity with USDA grading standards.
• Strong analytical, communication, and training skills.
• Ability to travel frequently to various plant locations.

Responsabilités

• Serve as on-site resource at beef plants and cover Site Leader duties.
• Co-manage the order queue to support production needs.
• Oversee cattle flow and grade projections in scheduling software.
• Conduct audits of grading and merchandizing to ensure USDA and company standards.
• Compile grade results into recurring reports with actionable insights.
