Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Manager, Carcass Merchandising Site Leader to guide first shift carcass merchandising teams and support second shift leadership at our beef operations. You will supervise, coach, and align activities to ensure grading accuracy, product value, and timely communication across shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in fresh meats or plant operations.
• Knowledge of USDA grade and yield standards and merchandising practices.
• Ability to coach, train, and develop team members through succession planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead first shift carcass merchandising and support second shift execution for accurate USDA grade application.
• Supervise, coach, schedule, and hold first shift team members accountable.
• Monitor grading systems, camera accuracy, scale processes, and yield documentation.
• Coordinate with Production Planning on grade projections, cattle flow, and inventory needs.
• Serve as primary escalation point for grading, staffing, and process issues across shifts.
• Ensure clear communication between shifts to maintain operational continuity.
• Develop succession plans and lead ongoing education and training initiatives.
