Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Sales Administrator to join our on-site team at the Corporate World Headquarters in Springdale, Arkansas. The role supports Sales Account Managers with large volume retail accounts for beef and pork, processing orders, maintaining price lists, and coordinating with multiple departments to ensure timely deliveries.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years in a business setting, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years in a business environment; preferably Customer Service.
• Experience with MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) is required.
• Knowledge of the Tyson Business Computer System is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Enter and process all types of customer orders accurately.
• Enter and maintain price lists.
• Check and confirm order fill and changes with customer.
• Maintain customized customer process lists.
• Track deliveries and relay information to the customer service team.
• Assist in completing management performance reports.
• Handle field calls from customers and gather necessary information for the manager.
• Cross-train with other Sales Administrators and cover for absences.
• Manage all incoming calls.
• Interact with other departments including claims, scheduling, transportation, pricing, production, quality assurance and credit.
