Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital seeks a Bed Control/Transfer Center Registered Nurse to coordinate and optimize patient bed placement and transfers. You will work with physicians, ED staff, and inpatient units to maintain smooth patient flow and timely care decisions.

The role requires a BSN and 3–5 years of acute care RN experience, with EPIC EMR proficiency being essential for documentation and coordination.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• 3–5 years RN experience in acute care is required.
• Experience in critical care or emergency/trauma preferred.
• Proficient with EPIC EMR platform required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assign beds at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.
• Evaluate, coordinate, process, screen, and document patient transfers into PAH.
• Collaborate with physicians, ED, inpatient units, surgical services and procedural areas to facilitate patient flow.
