Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Beauty & Wellness Consultant to engage customers, provide knowledgeable guidance on cosmetic products, and demonstrate skincare routines. The role includes mini-makeovers, product consultations, and contributing to brand awareness across beauty, wellness and personal care categories.

You will participate in in-store events, use devices for skin analysis, and help customers find the right solutions while maintaining a welcoming, clean department environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least one year in a retail setting meeting sales goals.
• Experience selling beauty or cosmetics and delivering customer care.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet objectives.
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers with greetings, assist with products and services and resolve issues.
• Demonstrate products and provide skincare consultations using devices like Skin Hydrometer.
• Lead in-store events to promote Owned Brands and total Beauty, Wellness and Personal Care.
• Maintain department hygiene, stock testers, and ensure a clean, organized space.
• Assist with upselling and cross-selling and participate in promotions.
