Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Beauty Consultant to maximize sales and brand awareness through exceptional customer care in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner. You will provide impartial, personalized advice across Beauty, Wellness and Personal Care, including mini-makeovers and skincare consultations, and support total look recommendations.

You will model a distinctive in-store experience, oversee department standards, and engage customers with omni-channel solutions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of retail sales or beauty/cosmetics sales experience
• Ability to work with little supervision and meet objectives
• Knowledge of products/brands to engage customers
• Experience building relationships within a team
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays
• Fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico)

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with products/services to ensure positive experience
• Demonstrate product knowledge through demonstrations and consultations
• Lead in-store events to promote brands and loyalty in Beauty, Wellness and Personal Care
• Assist customers in locating products in-store or online when unavailable
• Maintain department cleanliness and hygiene; stock testers and manage promos
• Process sales for customers and employee purchases at the register
• Participate in meetings about programs, promotions and brand launches
