Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Beauty & Wellness Consultant to deliver exceptional customer care, product demonstrations, and personalized beauty advice across the store. You will engage customers, conduct mini-makeovers, and support brand promotions while maintaining department standards and a welcoming environment.

The role emphasizes knowledge of skincare, cosmetics, and customer service, with flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in retail sales or beauty/cosmetics is preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Knowledge of products and brands to engage customers.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Models and shares customer care best practices by proactively offering assistance and informing customers of options.
• Provides expertise in product demonstrations and consultations with tools such as the Skin Hydrometer and tablet.
• Leads and delivers in-store events to promote brand awareness and loyalty of Owned Brands and total Beauty, Wellness and Personal Care.
• Maintains department standards, keeps testers stocked and clean, and handles POS transactions and sales.
• Participates in meetings on programs, promotions, and new items to support sales goals and customer care.
