Summary

Provide personalized beauty experiences through makeup application, skincare consultations, and product recommendations while building customer relationships both in-store and digitally. Work as part of a team to achieve sales goals, support beauty events and services, and maintain an inviting department environment. Stay current with beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings and brand partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses; recommend products tailored to customer goals
• Engage customers to build loyalty and drive sales both in-store and via digital tools including text and social media
• Book appointments and support in-store beauty events and services
• Manage sales transactions, refunds, and exchanges and assist customers with Nordstrom Rewards enrollment
• Maintain department organization, cleanliness, and customer readiness

Requirements

• Passion for beauty, makeup application, skincare, and customer service
• Strong ability to connect with customers, handle concerns empathetically, and contribute to a positive team environment
• Excellent multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills with a drive to meet sales goals
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Physical ability to be on feet for extended periods, frequently bend/reach, and lift up to 10 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 25 pounds
