Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Merchandise Manager to lead store operations, optimize staffing, and drive top-line sales growth. The MM reports to the Operations Manager and guides a team of Task Associates, overseeing shipment, replenishment, omni-channel, price changes, and markdowns.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1-2+ years of fast-paced, retail management, or other relevant work experience.
• Financial management: ability to drive top-line sales, interpret reporting data, and manage payroll budgets.

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of accountability to meet or exceed store goals and sales targets.
• Drive profitability through operational excellence, top-line sales growth, and expense control.
• Leverage forecasts and payroll budgets to optimize staffing and scheduling within budget.
• Review and act on store financial and operational reports and audits.
• Lead guest engagement, product demonstrations, and guest service excellence.
