Job summary

Futures, a fast-growing beauty brand, is seeking a Product Development Director to lead the end-to-end strategy for color cosmetics and skincare, driving innovative launches and shaping the brand's future.

Reporting to the COO, you will guide a three-person team, manage international contract manufacturers, and collaborate with senior leadership to deliver a robust pipeline and market-ready products for retail and ecommerce.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in beauty product development with expertise in color cosmetics and skincare.
• 4+ years leading product development teams.
• Experience managing full lifecycle from concept to launch.
• Strong knowledge of cosmetic formulations, ingredients and packaging; regulatory awareness (FDA/MoCRA, UK/EU).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product development from concept through to launch.
• Develop and manage a long-term innovation roadmap across categories.
• Oversee multiple launches with budgets, timelines and quality standards.
• Lead supplier negotiations and manage relationships with domestic and international manufacturers.
• Mentor a three-person product development team and collaborate with COO and leadership.
• Partner with Marketing, Sales and Logistics to ensure launch readiness across channels.
• Introduce AI-powered tools to improve development efficiency.
