Univar Solutions, a global chemical and ingredients distributor, is seeking a sales-focused professional to build profitable customer partnerships in California. The role involves prospecting, territory growth, and collaboration with R&D and supplier teams.

The ideal candidate will have a chemistry/biology background, customer-facing experience, and strong MS Office skills to support product launches and technical-commercial activities in Personal Care and Cosmetics.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology or a similar field.
Experience in technical roles, product development, laboratory, applications, or technical-commercial in Personal Care, Cosmetic or Skincare is mandatory for the role.
Experience dealing with customers at multiple levels, internal and external, and supplier partners.
Proficient in MS Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Build profitable sales by developing and maintaining long-term customer partnerships.
Prospect for new business and grow your territory.
Coordinate with Research & Development teams and supplier technical resources.
Assist with new product launches and provide technical explanations.
