Job summary

Palm Beach Tan is seeking outgoing leaders to accurately represent the brand, develop sales teams, and boost profits and customer/employee satisfaction. Starting pay is $16-$20/hr plus commission and bonuses.

The ideal candidate will be motivated to hit sales goals in a commission-driven environment and to build a long-term career with our organization. A comprehensive training program leads to opportunities on the management team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience in retail/customer service environment.
• 1 year supervisory experience.
• Ability to influence others.
• Stand/walk for 7+ hours daily; lift 25 pounds.
• Reliable transportation; flexible availability including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintains store staff by recruiting, selecting, and orienting employees.
• Meet sales goals and coach staff to improve performance and profitability.
• Schedule and assign employees; monitor work results.
• Control expenses to meet financial objectives.
• Ensure store compliance with legal requirements and standards.
• Assign tasks to keep stores clean, stocked, organized and customer ready.
• Build rapport with customers to foster loyalty and long-term relationships.
• Create a positive, motivating, team environment.
• Investigate and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Analyze daily sales and expenses to maximize net profits.
• Handle cash and banking responsibilities.
