Job summary

Macy’s is seeking a Beauty Account Coordinator to drive sales and elevate the store experience through product knowledge and expert training across Cosmetics for assigned brands. You will lead with strong partnerships, enable program execution, and empower Beauty staff to become experts on the floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 3–5 years of management experience in a retail store, preferably in beauty.
• Effective written and verbal communication; ability to draft reports and present to management.
• Travel required: 50%.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business results (store, category, brand, product) to identify sales opportunities and help meet goals.
• Communicate priorities, strategies, and direction to Division and store teams via multiple channels.
• Support growth with Regional Merchandise Execution, Beauty Field Directors, and Store partners.
• Lead and participate in events, including corporate, promotional, vendor launches, and virtual events.
• Prepare for store visits and pre-season planning; coordinate in-person and virtual visits.
• Develop relationships with vendors and communicate priorities and needs.
• Ensure execution aligns with national guidelines (planograms, fixtures, visuals).
• Observe competitors and communicate findings to central and regional teams.
• Be a change agent; drive forward-thinking strategies.
• Foster customer-centric selling and service by Beauty Advisors.
• Align coaching priorities with Beauty Managers and Counter Managers.
• Drive clientelling and customer acquisition using MyClient to build loyalty.
• Support training and education for store colleagues and maintain engagement.
• Support vendor partnerships and ensure relevant training on selling techniques.
• Recognize store team performance and tie brand success to department growth.
• Support onboarding of new Beauty Leaders and Advisors.
• Assist in hiring Beauty team members for assigned brands.
• Maintain reliable attendance.
• Foster an inclusive environment and authentic connections with colleagues and customers.
