Job summary

Macy's is seeking a Beauty Account Coordinator to act as the cosmetics category expert for assigned stores and brands. You will drive sales, deliver best‑in‑class customer service, and partner with store teams to execute plans and events.

Responsibilities include analyzing results, coordinating beauty events, coaching colleagues, and fostering vendor partnerships while maintaining adherence to national standards. Strong communication and travel readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 3–5 years of management experience in a retail store, preferably in beauty.
• Effective written and verbal communication; ability to draft reports and present to management and partners.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations and interpret bar graphs.
• Travel required: 50%.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business results to identify sales opportunities and reach goals.
• Communicate priorities, strategies and direction to division and store teams.
• Collaborate with Regional Merchandise Execution, Beauty Field Directors and store partners to drive growth.
• Lead and participate in event execution, plan local strategy and analyze post‑event results.
• Prepare for store visits and pre‑season planning; support in‑person and virtual visits.
• Develop relationships with vendors and monitor alignment with guidelines.
• Drive customer acquisition through clientelling and MyClient program.
• Support onboarding of beauty leaders and recruitment of team members.
