Job summary

The Talent Magnet is seeking a Manager of Commercial Strategy for a leading global beauty brand in New York. This role focuses on turning retail performance data into strategic business decisions across mass, drug, grocery, club, specialty and e-commerce channels.

You will own quarterly reviews, analyze syndicated data, build action-oriented narratives, partner with Sales and Marketing, and influence resource allocation with clear, data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial strategy or related retail CPG discipline.
• Experience with retail data and executive reviews is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead quarterly business reviews translating retailer, category and SKU performance into a concise narrative.
• Analyze syndicated and internal data to identify distribution opportunities, velocity gaps and pricing dynamics.
• Build fact-based perspectives on performance by retailer, channel and brand.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to convert insights into priorities and plans.
• Develop scorecards and tools that provide a single view of performance.
• Support annual planning, forecasting and long-range growth initiatives.
• Present findings to senior leaders with clarity and commercial challenge.
