Job summary

Nordstrom Beauty Department seeks a customer-focused beauty professional to create personalized experiences. You will perform makeup applications and skincare analyses, recommending products to meet customer goals while collaborating with teammates to foster an inclusive, welcoming environment.

You will drive in-store and online sales, book appointments, and organize events. You should be passionate about beauty trends, empathetic, and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting, with flexibility

Qualifications

• Passion for customer service and beauty, including trends, makeup application, and skincare.
• Excellent ability to connect with customers, proactively handle concerns and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Empathy and respect for all customers during makeup and skincare applications.
• Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Drive to achieve sales goals with interest in networking and technology.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Physical requirements: long periods of standing, handling merchandise, and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup applications, skincare analyses and recommend products based on customer goals.
• Collaborate with team to create a welcoming environment for all customers.
• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling with selling tools.
• Book appointments and drive sales for in-store beauty events and services.
• Keep department organized and customer-ready.
• Stay updated on beauty trends and products through trainings.
• Manage sales, refunds, exchanges, and build loyalty by Nordstrom Rewards accounts.
