Job summary

Kohl’s is seeking a Beauty Advisor to drive sales through an authentic passion for beauty. You will engage clients with a consultative approach, identify their needs and ensure an excellent overall client experience, while maintaining Sephora at Kohl’s standards.

You will build client loyalty, demonstrate product knowledge, upsell where appropriate and support visual merchandising, replenishment and training.

Qualifications

• Authentic passion for beauty.
• Client-facing retail or service industry experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence in a clear and concise manner.
• Flexible availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Build strong client loyalty and influence clients by identifying their needs and suggesting products to drive sales, including upsell opportunities.
• Demonstrate credibility to the client through knowledge of products and beauty trends.
• Inspire clients through demonstrating products and application of products to drive sales.
• Actively engage and complete all required training to expand knowledge.
• Execute and maintain Sephora visual merchandising and operational standards.
• Support omni-processing within the department.
• Support inventory management from receipt to sale, including freight processing and replenishment.
• Support visual elements of the department and communicate issues to the supervisor.
