Job summary

FashionUnited is seeking a Beauty Advisor who will drive sales through an authentic passion for beauty and engage clients by identifying their needs with a consultative approach. You will maintain expert knowledge of top beauty brands and support replenishment and visual standards according to Sephora at Kohl’s standards.

You will build client loyalty, demonstrate product knowledge, train to expand your knowledge, and contribute to maintaining department cleanliness and visual merchandising.

Qualifications

• Authentic passion for beauty.
• Client-facing retail or service industry experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Build strong client loyalty and influence clients by identifying needs and suggesting products to drive sales.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and beauty trends to establish credibility with clients.
• Demonstrate products and application techniques to inspire purchase decisions.
• Complete required training to expand product knowledge.
• Execute Sephora visual merchandising and maintain store cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Support omni-channel processing within the department.
• Assist inventory activities from receipt to sale, including replenishment and price changes.
• Communicate missed or damaged products/fixtures to supervisor.
