Job summary

The Cook role at South Seas, a Pyramid Global Hospitality property on Captiva Island, Florida, involves preparing and cooking food items to standardized recipes while maintaining high quality and presentation, measuring ingredients, and ensuring food is fresh and stored properly with strict safety and sanitation standards. 40 hours per week with a flexible schedule.

Requires at least 1 year cooking experience, a valid driver’s license, and a Food Handlers Certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items based on standardized recipes maintaining high quality and presentation.
• Follow recipes, measure ingredients, and ensure proper food portions and temperature.
• Maintain sanitation and safety in the kitchen; keep work areas clean and organized.
• Restock and prepare ingredients; assist with menu planning and guest requests.
