Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality on Captiva Island, Florida is seeking a qualified cook to prepare and cook food items according to standardized recipes while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. The role involves prep work, kitchen cleanliness, and responding to guest preferences.

Position requires 1 year cooking experience, a valid driver’s license, and Food Handlers Certification. Compensation is $21.00–$23.00 per hour with a 40-hour work week and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year cooking experience, former line cook/fry cook with food service preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, motor vehicle background check will be completed.
• Food Handlers Certification (must comply with State regulations)

Responsibilities

• Read and follow recipes, understand units of measurement.
• Cook all menu items to order and ensure quality and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and work areas.
• Assist with prep, stocking, and other duties as required.
