Job summary

South Seas Resort, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, is seeking an Executive Chef to lead culinary operations across restaurants, banquets, and employee dining on Captiva Island. You will drive food quality, safety, and guest satisfaction while managing labor, costs, and menu development.

The role requires five+ years of leadership in high-volume hospitality, a culinary degree, and relevant certifications; pre-opening experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
• Minimum five years of progressive culinary leadership experience.
• Hotel/resort culinary background strongly preferred.
• Certifications: ServSafe, Alcohol Awareness, and related licenses.

Responsibilities

• Lead culinary operations across restaurants, banquets, and employee dining.
• Ensure high food quality, consistent presentation, and safety standards.
• Recruit, train, coach, and manage culinary staff and budgets.
• Develop menus, recipes, and production schedules; monitor costs.
• Oversee BEOs, events, and cross-department collaboration.
