Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue seeks a full-time youth program specialist to supervise, mentor, and tutor students in grades 6-12. The role emphasizes academic support, family outreach, and collaboration with school partners to promote graduation and personal growth.

The position offers a stable schedule, with opportunities to lead Be Great! Graduate! activities and coordinate 21CCLC programming, while ensuring safety and compliance across club operations.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar after-school setting.
• Experience working with youth, parents and community partners.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Must pass National Background Check and Driving Record Check.
• CPR and First Aid certifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and tutor youth in grades 6-12.
• Plan and implement strategies to support on-time graduation.
• Outreach to families and engage guardians as partners.
• Engage with school district contacts to support program efforts.
• Build positive relationships with teen members to support academics.
• Facilitate BGCA programs to augment the Be Great! Graduate! curriculum.
• Develop individualized academic progress plans for selected teens.
• Assist Site Coordinator with 21CCLC programming.
• Attend 21CCLC meetings and events.
• Drive the Club Van for transportation of youth.
